To our devoted customers from the last 37 years. The time has come for me to retire. I turned 76 this year and would like to enjoy some time traveling while my health permits. My plan at this time is to liquidate inventory with the thought of closing prior to Christmas Day. We were ahead of our plans and sold out by November 15th. For those who have backorders of not yet released items your orders will still ship to you the day they are received from Germany even if that carries over into 2025.
I have enjoyed my years owning the shop and have been astonished by what started as a small restaurant and grew into a major attraction in Southern Illinois. I remember many of you who would stop in to eat and enjoy the trains running while you traveled across the country. I have truly been blessed!
